Advertiser Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-29 · v0.1 (draft)
⚠ Draft. Not legally reviewed. Lull's audience is developers and trust is the product — this policy is intentionally strict. Adapt with counsel before launch.
Every sponsor creative is reviewed before it goes live and may be removed at any time. Lull serves developers, and a single bad ad erodes the trust the whole network depends on. Keep it honest, relevant, and clean.
Format requirements
- Text only, within the character limit. No images, scripts, or executable content.
- Always rendered with a clear "Sponsored" label — you may not disguise an ad as system output or the agent's own text.
- A landing URL (for clickable placements) must be a normal
https:// page that does not auto-download, auto-execute, or deceive.
Prohibited content
- Malware, phishing, or links that auto-open, auto-download, or run code.
- Deceptive, false, or misleading claims; fake urgency; impersonation of another brand, person, or of Lull / the coding agent itself.
- Crypto/token scams, "guaranteed returns", pump-and-dump, or get-rich-quick schemes.
- Gambling, adult content, weapons, illegal drugs, or anything unlawful in the markets where it serves.
- Hate speech, harassment, or content that demeans a protected group.
- Collection of developers' personal data through the ad, or anything implying Lull reads their code.
Quality & relevance
Creatives are scored for clarity and relevance to a developer audience. Shouty, spammy, or low-quality creatives rank lower and may be rejected. Keep it concise and useful — the best-performing sponsor lines read like a tip, not a banner.
Targeting & developer controls
Developers can block entire categories (including competitors) from their own status line. You cannot circumvent these blocks, and you must categorize your campaign honestly.
Enforcement
We may reject a creative at submission, pause or remove a live campaign, refund undelivered prepaid budget, and — for repeated or malicious violations — suspend the advertiser account. Decisions are at Lull's discretion in service of developer trust.
