These Terms govern your use of Lull ("Lull", "we", "us") — an open-source service that lets developers earn a share of advertising revenue by displaying short, clearly-labeled sponsor messages in their AI coding agent's status line and "thinking" spinner, and lets advertisers buy those placements. By creating an account or installing the Lull client, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
The Lull client adds a statusLine command and spinnerVerbs to your agent's settings file (a documented, user-opt-in extension point), after backing up your original configuration. By running it you consent to these specific, reversible changes. The client renders sponsor lines and reports signed impression beacons containing only a device id, creative id, dwell time, a nonce and a timestamp. The client does not read, transmit, or process your prompts, code, files, commits, or terminal output. You can remove it at any time with one command, which restores your original settings.
You may not: fabricate or automate idle time or impressions/clicks; operate multiple accounts to inflate earnings; tamper with the client or beacons; reverse-engineer fraud thresholds to evade them; or use Lull for anything illegal. Fraud results in account termination and forfeiture of unpaid balances.
The Lull client is open-source under Apache-2.0. These Terms govern the hosted service (accounts, the marketplace, payouts), not your use of the source code under its license.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lull is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts paid to or by you in the prior three months, or ₹10,000. We depend on third-party agent platforms (Anthropic, Cursor, OpenAI, Microsoft) whose changes may affect or end the service.
You agree to indemnify Lull against claims arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the service.
You may stop using Lull and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Cleared, non-fraudulent balances remain payable subject to the payout floor and verification.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified. The service is operated by a company incorporated in India; disputes are governed by Indian law and the courts of the company's registered jurisdiction, unless local mandatory law provides otherwise.
